  Recaro + Cupped 182
Hello,

Am I being fussy or does my new exhast look a touch wonkey to anyone else? Is it easy to adjust?

Could just be your mount thats on its way out.

Push the pipe up and see if it levels up better. My mounts were all perished and it caused the exhaust to sit wonky.

Replace the mounts or get them held up using other methods.

Cheers guys, any suggestions n other ways to 'get it up'? Only had it fitted on sat, but thats was 90 miles away.

sometimes its just the way its made. cable ties on the rubber mounts can help pull it which way you won't but they don't last long

Heavy duty zip ties are good.

I also used rubber mounts from Halfords, cut them to size to wedge the existing ones up. Held in place by screws or more ties.

Can be done well.

Hi mate, look under your car, and the mounts are on slider, loosen the bolts and slide it forwards ( towards the back of the car ) and it should take it to the right hand side and level it up :)

The rubber mounts on my hangers have perished. When Mike fitted my Milltek, he popped a hexagonal nut under each mount and tied them in with cable ties - worked a treat - and cheaper than new mounts too. :)

Cool! What do you guys think? complete new mounts inc mental bracket from ktec @ £20 a pop or just do the power flex ones? how easy are they to change?

My Milltek sits exactly the same as that! I need to use the good ol' "Zipties and rubber blocks" methods on it before the FCS.

seriously if it was wonky you just need to play with sliders on the mounts if it hangs low then you need to chock it/zip tie

Do a home made mount!

I tidied it up a bit since, but my exhaust sits perfect and hasn't moved in nearly 2 months. Pikey bodge that does the job! As for the angle it comes out at- get underneath and see if there's any play in it...
