New on here and my new 172

Car  Renaultsport Clio 172
Hi there people, i recently bought my Clio 172 with 25,000 on the clock. The small 2.0 litre 16 valve decal on the door fell off though whilst i was cleaning it. Does anyone have any suggestions of the best way to put it back on? Here's some pics...

Yeah its one of the latest 172's to be registered.

Beef-Mc. The guy had a tonne of calls about this one but luckily i sealed the deal within the first hour of it being put up!

55 plate 172, got to be the last one. my friend has a 04 plate 172 and i thought that was pretty late registered. looks nice:cool:

Most late plated 172 will be parallel imports brought from motor superstores (personal experience) but that still don't take away from the fact it looks mint. Btw its nothing to worry about as long as the price is right.

I saw an 06 plate 182 the other day and thought that was a really late one, so this just looks weird lol

Looks tidy though, but it should being 4 1/2 years old?!

Small decal on the door fell off? Do you mean the badges on the door which are silver in colour? If so, they should have 3 little clips which simply push in.

I think those clips have come away though unfortunately, where can i get a new pair?

You could get them direct from Renault or you can occasionally get them in the 'Car parts for sale' section on here or you can place an ad in the 'wanted' section and see if anybody has some for sale.

Looks really nice mate, good colour. get ready to clean the fecker every 2mins though. only had mine 2 weeks and its constantly filthy already!!

Buy new ones, a mint car deserves new parts, they're not that expensive.

Old style ELF decal means its been registered well late!

I've taken that ELF sticker off since taking the photo's. This may sound like a really stupid question, but, how do get something direct from renault? I've been looking and i'm struggling to find anything...

aah brill, thanks mate. Any ideas of prices for one of those silver 2.0 16v badges on the door?

Never take the elf sticker off! its not allowed! :)

really nice car mate...... i was going to say you have bought a dodgy one on false plates but after reading others comments, ill not lol

enjoy it :-)

Shock horror... you took off the ELF sticker!! lol. from what iv been told thats a real Renault faux pas! (im new to the RenFault, Ford at heart shhh ;) ) have a look around or do a quick search matey, it might trun up the part number and price for one of the side badges (think people refer to them as "bullets" so maybe search that), so you can go into the dealers knowing what your looking for and what its should cost you. :)

Aye, 2002/3 those stickers were last in cars!

Good to have late registered cars though :)
