New Owner (Suffolk based) - any meets happening?

Hi All - Just joined here as I'm off to collect my 'new' 182 next week, and was wondering if anything was happening regarding a meet-up in the East Suffolk area?
I run a pub in Woodbridge, but it's only got a small car park, so probably not the ideal place for a meet... Any ideas to 'do something' before the summer finishes?

Maybe an Aldeburgh 'fish & chip' run from Ipswich using some great back roads I know? What's the consensus?

I've been twice before (2015 and 2016) and it's a good weekend. People are friendly and it's quite easy to get chatting to people. Take a tent, a camping chair and some liquid refreshment!

Looks like there is a bit of interest. I'd suggesting choosing a date then seeing what interest you get. Alternatively you could look at Pistonheads, I think they have quite a few things going on in the region.

Sadly can't do ClioSport Festival - I run a pub and it's too busy over August Bank Holiday weekend to leave it.
I know the team at PistonHeads East Anglia - I'll have a chat to them, but the numbers tend to be a bit 'unwieldy' on a PHEA event.

How about a Sunday morning meet up - 10am at Sizewell 'Tea' near Leiston on the coast, they do great (reasonably priced) food, and there's lots of car parking next to the cafe (that sadly is chargeable even on a Sunday) - I suggest Sunday 17th September...

We can meet up, have a chat over a brew & fry-up, and then return home at a 'reasonable' hour, rather than lose a whole day...

The yellow one will be, but probably won't be MOT'd by that point unfortunately If we do another one though, I'd be happy to bring it along once it's up and running.

Hey, i used to live in Woodbridge for a few years, now live down the road in Grange farm. Not been to any meets for years mind you and I don't really enjoy driving the track car on the road in all honesty but I am from very near you never the less

Why not come along on Sunday for a fry-up and a chat anyway in whatever you fancy driving? The food at Sizewell T is very nearly worth the journey ;-)

Ah cool, I used to work at Notcutts Head Office for 10 years, had a few meals in there!

As no one reply the last couple of days me an 182_steve have made other plans. We're meeting at big Tesco in Yarmouth @ 09:00 then heading up the coast to Cromer then back through the city.
