New PC

Im looking to buy a new pc, currently using a laptop but seeing as it never leaves my desk i may as well get a better pc and get rid of the laptop.

I have a budget of around £400 what do people recommend, i will be using it for gaming as well as normal usage, and would also like a biggish flatscreen

Choose your monitor then see what cash you have left to play with, tbh £400 + monitor won't get you much of a spec.

My laptop is a Packard Bell, Pentium4 2.8ghz, 512mb ram, 40gig hd....... How much do u reckon this is worth?
TBH i can wait for a monitor and just buy the PC at the mo.
