Few Months ago i had a real bad smash in my blue Expression, Since then i haven't been on here much as i bought a 206 (heap of sh*t) tempory until i could get myself another Clio Now i've bought a Dynamique, Y reg, pretty good condition. Got it pretty cheap. Could do with some ideas on what to do. I'm going to spray the wheels, was thinking black but not too sure... Badges will be black ( re-doing them today as i used some cheap spray and its come off in places. But any ideas would be much appreciated. Lowering will be done soon. Just looking for cheap effective mods! Thanks.

Hi mate you've got a good base to go from there. definitely lower it, black badges all around sound cool. I wouldn't suggest spraying the wheels black though. i did mine myself when I first got my dynamique and it looked rubbish. Unless you're going to get it done properly, but in that case you might as well buy a new set. If I was you, I'd get a new set of alloys (well, not brand new, used alloys for price reasons) keep your old ones for putting back on when you go to sell it. I'd also suggest (as would pretty much everyone else on here) silvervision indicator bulbs, RS Grill, colour code side strips atleast. Then it depends what sort of look you're going for really. A lot of people go for 16" ph2 172 alloys for an upgrade (I also did this) but it's your car, make it your own! P.S. try not to crash this one

Cant really afford to buy new alloys, so i'lle just refurb them myself. Im not too bad with the o'le spray can RS grill i am on the hunt for as cheap as possible! Thanks for the advise Will take it all into consideration when modding. Ille try not too crash it! haha

New alloys really aren't that expensive. You'll probably spend maybe £40 on paint+primer, £15 on sanding paper and hours of your life to refurb them. You could get a set of 172 alloys with tyres for £100. But if you're set on black wheels then go for it I started off doing almost exactly the same as you, didn't like the sound of spending £100+ on individual mods, ended up getting 2 sets of alloys, some coilovers etc. and there's loads left to do! Hope your car turns out the way you want it mate

Ive already got plenty of sandpaper and primer so thats not a problem just a few tins of gloss black and some laquer and it'l be sorted ) thinking of doing the badges Adam blue or neon blue allong with dash trims and a few bots in the interior. You think it'l go with silver? Thanks pal

3m headlight kit came today, been busy doing that. Also wrapped the front badge in carbon and back is done in white with the surround in black. Pics will be up soon. Also bought a 12" sub and a 6000w amp just because they were cheap :')

refurbed my headlights with a 3M kit. Highly recommend it.

Looking at the pics now. They dont do it much justice, but they are actually much better. Umm RS grille, lowered 30-40mm, spray the alloys black, spray/vinal wrap some bits on the interior, colour code, clear or tinted side repeaters sort something with a new back box. Basically be all show no go haha. Any suggestions?

I'm tempted to have a go at the headlights on mine, don't spray them black they don't suit it IMO but what I'd do, RS Grill/172 Alloys/172 Rear Bumper/Clear Side Repeaters/Full Colour Code/Clean Plates, and either Coilovers or Springs

It is worth refurbing your headlights, they just clean the car up. I cant afford to buy new wheels, only on a part time job and still payong my ridiculous insurance off! that all sounds like what im planning. Will be springs not coilovers, due to cost of them haha. Thanks for the advice mate

Haha yes they will be going soon when i get around to buying some new ones. I had some the same in my old one. So i got rid of them and found more when i bought this one!

Same thing happened to me, always forget to remove my car mats and end up with a horrid set in the next car, or none at all!

Fitted the new 8 inch sunstrip today. Looks great. Well worth £2.99 from ebay!

Havent updated this in a while due to it having starting issues and very little money to do anything. Also the fact that i have now received 5 points and £150 fine.
