New PS3 Slim and lite eh?

Im probably weeks behind but had a look through and couldn't see anything.
Got my copy of T3 through yesterday and its on the front cover... looks pretty sweet! Strangely enough i still like the chunkiness of the original? weird.. maybe its cos i feel as though im getting more for my money..

That's simply an artists impression of how it may look and not a real Sony image. It looks like someone has taken a Wii and stuck it to the lid of a PS3.

Yep, i read about this a few days ago.. didn't pay much attention to it really as there are no real pictures.

if it didnt it would get far too hot in there anyway letalone not have the space

That's party down to it not needing as much power anyway, and secondly that they've got most things in there down onto just a couple of chips now. That's still a long way off for the PS3.

tbh it took them long enough to get that big heavy beast out

so i doubt by now they have managed to shrink the die for the cpu's etc enough to slim it down that much it still needs a huge heatsink unless they are going to make you connect it to a tap lol

They won't start working on that until they start making some more money out of it to fund the extra development.

they already make a loss on these consoles, sony employees get like £10 off trade price and it's £250. Cause they make NO money on the consoles. don't see this happenig for a long time yet.

my ps3 broke recently ! the disc reader stopped reading all types of discs,, though I am getting a new one delivered tomo
