new radio!

hi guys:

im getting a new alpine stereo but i need to know which cable i need so i can stil use the steering wheel remote. If you look here there are 3 different ones for clios, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th items down:

now which one would i need for Clio cup 52 plate? The differences between the leads are this:


Renault Clio 2 without display Bj 98-00
Clio II with display - Bj 00
Clio II with display after My 00
my guess is its the last one. Im guessing that i need one with a display? and im guessing that the 00 means the number plate? what does Bj or My mean? Help!!!!!

alpine head units : sh*t hot.

Dont like stalk controls though. I got the kce 840b and the kwe 845. These are the leeds you should need but the stalk control will do source, volume and forward a track, nothing else. You cant go back a track!

hmmm bit sh*te then really. Are there no other interfaces around that will do more?

can you pause too? i.e. when you press both volume buttons?

thats made me think now should i go for a sony head unit, as there is meant to be a good interface cable out for sony head units so ive read on here
