new rear brakes HELP

B

Hi there i have a 04 182 and have a couple of problems 1st i've bought new groved brakes and pads, i went to fit them the weekend gone and had no probs with the front what so ever, went to do the rear got the pads off ok but noticed the discs are different to the front, fair enough, so took the disc off and noticed there are bearings inside so i went and bought the bearing kit for it noticed it only came with the bearing, cir clip and new nut but looking at my old disc it has some sort of rubber disc guessing to hold the grease in when the disc gets hot? do i need something else before i get these bearings pressed, and 2nd the new discs doesn't have the abs ring on and i can't seem to find anywhere who sell that part so how do i go on about getting one or taking the old one off without braking it?

Much help needed thanks, Rich

not sure what you mean about the old bearings, the new units will be a sealed and greased unit. so no need to worry.

you need to set the rear 30mm castle nut to 175 NM

the abs ring will pop off your old disc, pop it in a vice...use some WD and a flat head driver. tap driver with a hammer and knock the ring off using the ridge as a lever.
