New rear discs not going on

I am new to all this but have just had to replace my rear discs and pads but cant seem to get the new discs back on properly, both me and my mate who is a mechanic are quite stumped at this. I have tried 3 different sets of discs but no further forward. Has anyone else come across this?

Does the new discs have the wheel bearings pressed into them?

They have spacers on, maybe the new ones haven't got them. Hope your original ones still have them.
You might just need to clean up the stub axle though.

Hi, Ended up having to go through Renault for new discs, £140 inc VAT, put them on and everything fine now

have u cleaned the stub axle and put a small amount of copper slip on it?

Yeah I did, when I got the disc on it was catching the abs sensor and stopped the disc from turning

Like Adam mentioned did you refit the spacer that goes behind the disc. Picture of it in here:

As you mentioned it caught the abs sensor.

If these aren't there, please don't drive your car as you will wear the bearings in your new discs pretty quickly

I think that's what happened with mine when the previous owner changed the disks. It went through a wheel bearing in 3000 miles!
