So, after a lap of the M25 on Sunday to pick these up, and 2 hours last night cleaning the brake dust/ mud/ CV grease (Oh hai Warren x) off the damn things .. I got round to fitting them tonight !

Not sure if cleaning them was the best idea... Don't know if it's the car being too dirty, or the wheels being too clean, but something's not right. Probably take these off soon and get them done black. :S

They'll look great once the cars cleaned up. I'd go for anthracite personally. Would look fantastic on a black car, added bonus of being easier to sell in the future. Bloody light, aren't they!

Alex - Defo an obsessive polisher. My wardrobe is full of car cleaning things. My clothes are kept in piles on the floor haha. See here for past history regarding cleaning! Car hasn't been washed in weeks thanks to working, man flu, or picking up new wheels last weekend ! Can't be bothered washing it very often in winter as it will look hanging again after 24 hours. Though I do get asked often how I keep it so clean :S It's minging if you get close enough !! :dead:

But then again the F1s, 172 standards and Ultralegg's are my 3 favourite wheels on a Clio and I like this car so it's a yesh yesh me likes!

They're a wierd design, think its the way the spokes go out to the edge of the rim but it appears they look smaller than they actually are, do em anthracite!

The F1's looked a lot better imo. But i bet these new wheels are quite a bit lighter so it will be better to drive. If they were powder coated in black i think it would look better

f1's are quite light anyway mate, i tried some ronals on mine the other day and the weight difference between them and the f1's is massive
