New RS Matts for Phase II / 182

Someone gave a link for the new RS interior matts product code for the 182 with Renault, the website is:

I called up my local Renault parts and he said that this website lists the part number for the phase II for a left hand drive only, i.e. they do not make these matts for the 182 right hand drive.
I asked him if the phase III 197 matts would fit and he werent sure as he has never tried, and they do not stock them so i can't go and test them!

Has anyone got these new matts in a 182 and they fit fine? Or failing that, are there any 197 owners in Essex with these new matts that wouldnt mind me popping over to check if they fit in my 182?!? Would really appreciate it, i dont want to spend the money on them to find they dont fit, as the parts guy said i can't get a refund!?

I picked some up on saturday- asked them to order me the RS mats for a 2005 182. They fit alright... whether they're for the 197 or the 182!

they are from the renault sport website. so have you fitted them to your car yet?

i also noticed on the bag that they came in, it has a tick next to the expression box. made me laugh

Those part numbers are what i'm talking about, see the first post on this thread! Apparently the Clio II are left hand drive according to my parts man?!...

i took mine outa the bag this mornin and without sepereating them i placed the drivers mat on the drivers side and it fits with no problem. didnt take any pic though. oh and i now have to give them to my gran as shes giving them to me for xmas XD

thats the 1 i gave them and its the same 1 i got of the renault sport website. feels like i gotta wait ages for them now, but its just under a week. doesnt feel like xmas yet

I know what you mean about xmas, all of a sudden it all creeps up on you!
Thats strange, because my parts guy said that is the left hand drive matts. Not being funny but they definitely fit your right hand drive car yeah?

Mine are the 7711425548 and fit fine. Only thing I noticed... There are clips on the floor of my car for mats to clip into I presume, but on the RS mats there are not holes or clips.

I wanted these for Christmas too, but you can't order them over the phone apparently. And Renault in Southend has just moved so haven't had the chance to get them

Hi well i have just rang mumfords and ordered the mats.
The bloke was impressed as he did not know u could get them hehehe he was like how did u get the part number!!! anyway i have asked him to double check the fittings on monday just to be 100% as he cant ring them today so i will keep u up to date very soon.

Hi i spoke to mumfords this morning and have ordered them i have asked him to double check on monday if they are for right hand drive but there on his system which is great by all accounts it sounds like there fine will keep u posted shortly.

Mine are fine, just order them on the parts number and if they are wrong dont pay for them.

Not as simple as that though mate! They are not going to let you open up the bag and try them for size until you've paid, and if they dont fit then you've wasted £50!

When I got my 182 they didnt have any matts so I ordered what I thought were RS ones from Southend Renault. Picked them up earlier this week but I'm taking them back as they look crap!!

The pattern is something like an old mans jumper and the 'Clio' isn't even embroided its just a label.

£48 is probably the price you pay after 15% discount and hours at the parts desk talking to some cretin and after countless times sending them back after they supply you with the wrong ones.

but like i said fit fine they dont slide about 2 much
