New rs tuners kits

Need advice on the RSTUNER.

When I plug it from my laptop to car and click "connect" it says unknown firmware..... It also Says the VCI is locked.... I have emailed fastchip not had reply yet.

Do I need to wait for them to unlock it or am I not doing something correct?
