New service intervals

I was told todat that my 182 needed its first service after 18k today and after checking with the guy twice(my 172 was 12k)he said deffo 18k or 2 years

Has anyone been told different??

I dont believe that. I called various dealers for prices just a couple of weeks ago for the 12k on mine. None of them commented it had been changed to 18k.

i was told this too when i booked mine a couple of weeks ago (it goes in on friday).

well the girl on the end of the phone commented that i didnt need a 24k service as it was every 18k miles for a clio, until i pointed out it was a 172. she said shed amend my records.
i dont know what the records contain, but it cant be much seeing as they sold me the car and have had done all the warranty work and a 12k service!!

I was told there was no run in period required when I bought my 182...

Oddly enough the book says 12k or two years, but the salesman told me it was 12,000miles or 12 months when i collected the car today.
