New steering wheel help

Took my old non sport one off today to fit new sport one a bought off ebay. All was going well until i had to put the sport one on. Finally got it on and checked the wheels were straight. Went for a drive but now the steering is very light and when the wheels are straight the steering wheel is faceing to the side! Is this just a case of taking it off and lining up better?

Yes mate, just take it back off and line it up.

Changing the steering wheel should not affect the lightness of the steering.
