New Steering Wheel

I'm probably gonna get laughed at for this, but anyway!
Got my 172 cup not long ago, after managing to write off my previous one (daft mistake).
I fancy a new steering wheel since the grips on mine have gone, what's the crack with airbag and mot, not sure if fitting a new wheel would get it through, or is there something I do when I fit a new one!

small steering wheel requires resistors to stop airbag lights coming on. no mot problem then. or you could get your standard one refurbed

if you like the standard wheel, go for a snappy refurb imo, bob on work

was also looking at this, any idea where to get the resistor and is it as simple as clip it in to the old plug?

3.3ohm resistor from Maplins. There's a few threads in the guides section.
