Hi there, im phip, ive been in the cruise scene for a long time and joint run a modification scene forum based in the midlands.
My girlfriend had an old 1.9 mk1 desiel, poor thing was a tank with its laquer peeling, my girlfriend always said "she (the car) has sunburn" but it had to go because it didnt have power steering, which is a must as my gf has a bad back. So now she has a mk1 1.4 rt champs elysees with powersteering and all the extra toys. Its a great little car and she loves it. Ive had to look at a few things today, it seemed to be misfiring, so i had a look and it turned out to be coked up sparkplugs. with that resolved i looked into the powersteering leak.......
so after my introduction and little history i need to know where i can get my hands on the metal power steering pipe that runs under the engine and along the subframe. looks to be a bit of a tricky one to remove, but as it has a hole in it, due to somone cabletying it to the subframe but touching the vibrating engine, rubbing a hole in the pipe.
so hi! good site you have here and any support would be great!
