Evening all,

I'm new to ClioSport as a member but have been over on renaultsport for a few months now. Hope you're all doing good and enjoying your Clio's! Speak to some of you soon I'm sure! I'm based in Brentwood in Essex and drive a 197

Just a couple quick photos of my car - I love it! Wouldn't trade for anything else, at the moment at least!

Hi cat171, yup I remember! Not too many 197's or V6's around Brentwood much, I do see a shed load of 172/182's from time to time tho! Thanks for the welcome both of you so far. Hope Christmas is treating you well and the awful weather for driving/keeping the car clean isn't too annoying!

You are officially the most local person I've sent a member pack to! I'm not sure whether I will even give royal mail the job of delivering it tbh.
Obviously I know where you are, but to give you an idea where I am: between my house and the communications mast/tower, there is probably the distance of 2 farmers fields!
I doubt you will ever have seen or will see me about as I don't use use the old 172 that much.

Woo! I feel privileged! The farmers fields comment helps me out, maybe I'll google earth it and go on a stalking mission in the 197 hehe

Brentwood seems to have a fair few 172/182s but not many 197's or V6's, which is good for me really! Means i'm special! Woop woop. Are there any meets ever that are round our way? I'd like to get involved and go to one, plus find some decent driving roads. Around the back of Ongar and Fyfield and Abridge it's not so bad, but pretty restricted imo.

Yep, plenty of 'common' Renaultsports about, nothing special to speak of and no particularly active members in lonely bwood.
With the lucky of hiding my car in the garage, you've probably driven past my house without even knowing

Thanks for the members pack Brian, got it today. The sticker shall be going in asap and the key ring is genius. Pretty darn heavy, could do some damage with that thing? Or is that the idea for anyone trying to thieve the car? haha. Look forward to meeting some of you guys at some upcoming meets.

Little tip with the sticker: Read the instructions at the bottom of the letter and take your time Any problems pm me!
