Hi all,

Just bought my first car, a 1.8 16v clio, really please with it.

Tried changeing the cambelt this week with the engine in but theres just so little room i have decided to lift the engine out, so hopefully that will be coming out sometime this week which will give me chance to renew other bits and pieces that will probably need doing soon so no doubt i will need some help and advice in the near future .

bought the car off ebay a couple of weeks ago, 164hp according to the rolling road figures but whatever its putting out it really does go , some of you may have seen the advert on ebay already, heres some pics anyway,,

Yep leather trim chris. Its not in bad conditon overall for the age, got the usual rust spots over the rear wheel arches though

Yea the black valvers do look sweet. Based in southend, essex, cue the essex boy racer jokes lol, Im keeping it as it is though, i did want a standard one but then this one popped up on ebay and seemed a good deal.

Yeah keep it standard mate. Ph2 16vs are beautiful. Subtle yet mean.

Personally prefer to see the ph2 16v 5 spokers but those 172 wheels look nice too.
