Hi all,

My names Taz, I unfortunately don't yet own a RenaultSport Clio, but hope to do so in the next few months. I currently own a Citroen C2 Code in Iron Grey. I've recently turned 25 and brought my own house. I've always liked the RenaultSport Clio's, specially the Trophy's after my sisters partner had one a few years back. I'm finally at an age where the insurance isn't bad and I feel it's the right time to get one.

Hopefully, I'll become an owner at some point and hope to get some buyers tips from everyone on here.

I'm looking really at the RenaultSport Clio RS200's.

Thanks for the quick welcomes. I hope you don't mind me becoming a member without owning a Clio yet. I joined the current C2 forum to gain buyers information about what to look for when buying one privately. I find speaking to owners of the car(s) you're looking at, you get better advice that looking on Parkers or other reputable reviewing sites.

The FA57 TAZ comes from my private plate currently on my C2. I figured it'd look a lot better on a black Clio RS200.

I turned 25 in April. My insurance on the 172 is £331!
being 25 is mental when it comes to insurance prices dropping!

Hi,

Well after seeing a black RS200 yesterday, I got into gear and started looking around and looked at reviews. I did a quick insurance quote on a reputable comparison site and it came back at just a smidge over £500, which I don't mind paying. I'll post some pictures of my C2 if you're interested, it's completely standard. Do you guys have like a buyers guide on the site, like a sticky in one of the forums?

No idea mate, I got the 172 after i hit 25.

Although Directline wanted £560 But i added the wife as named driver who is 26 and it dropped to £331. lol
