I swear to god i cant wait to see the back of mine. Saved £550 so far. Need £2000 more and PX with my car @ £2500 = £5000 which MIGHT be able to get me a 1.6.....

nice, what colour is the renault badge, you spray it mate?

badge is pearlescent black same as car. didn't buff or polish after spraying and just stuck it back on.

doesn't look too bad i don't think

nah mate i like it, is it laquered? i gave mine a laquer when i sprayed it just to give it a bit of a shine like.

nope didn't bother laquering it...i have had bad experience with laquer.

always flakes or bubbles!

Ive had my crappy 8v for a few months now and i cant complain...

runs perfect, i give it hell sometimes it copes... its 2001 so not too bad for a first car, certainly better than a lot of other peoples first cars.

it may not be fast, but oh well. my mate took me out in his 1.6 306 (its really quite old..), yeh its fast.. but its a heap of junk. the amount of problems it has, i just couldnt live with them everyday. i mean, ffs i get annoyed whenever i notice one little thing doesnt work as it should and get it sorted immediately!

Until i gain a few years of no claims i dont plan on changing anytime soon.
