just about to turn 18. Been saving for a while and found a ph1 172 45 000 miles on the clock going for £3,495and pick it up end of may. The car is mint. but i dont want to keep it stand. but can't think of any thing to do to it. any ideas any one? i would put a pic up of it but i dont no how to.:dapprove:

I'd just keep it standard! They look better standard in my opinion. 172 at 18, thats going to cost a fair bit to insure!!

I jus bought a 172 cup with 39 k on the clock, abso mint condition with the private plate S14 CUP

That sounds good for 39k on clock. I've just had my insurance renewal for the 172 and its cheaper than my wifes Astra 1.6 automatic 5 door! Was the same last year as well! Strange or what!!

Keep the car standard. Phase1's look really good as they are. A nice 172 Ph1 will stay looking good for years.

Just enjoy it mate and have fun. Leave the mods alone until you can bring your insurance down and then you can enjoy the car all over again

no you have to be 18 but have a green card or summet thats what the dvla web site some one els said that thats why i looked
