new tyre fitted end of june... low psi

Car  '14 Auris Hybrid ST
my new tyre has a really low psi, reading just 6.

this is a new tyre, and ive just noticed it, looked for puncture and theres nothing,

will have a look at it in the morning to see if it has lost pressure...

should i take it back to the garage? or will it just be one of those things?

Take it back they probably didn't rub the old s**t off the inside of the alloys so it won't be creating a proper seal.

what should i say if they try to charge? i jokingly asked if there was any guarantee :(

will take it back tomorrow.
cheers for the reply :)

Just ask them to check for a puncture and to check its sealed properly. Decent garage shouldn't charge for redoing it unless it was a puncture.

I've had this happen to me, it's more than likely that dirt and mould has settled on the inner rim that stops the tyre from sealing. Just take it back, shouldn't be an issue.

Get them to check the valves couple I had fitted recently had bad ones and leaked.
