New tyres need scrubbing ?

Hey guys,

Fitted some Pirelli pzero nero's yesterday, and grip is lacking compared to my old PE2's that had 1.5mm of tread left on them..

i've done about 30 mile's, is there a certain period you need to scrub these or are is it just 240 quid down the pan really ? I use my car for the sole purpose of fun, so want it to grip.

they'll need a lot longer than 30 miles to wear in. Give it a few hundred, and then you should start to see a difference

You should have stuck to the Michelins . The Pirellis don't come close imo , they should be scrubbing in a bit by now maybe but don't expect the grip you had with the Michelins because it just won't happen .
