New tyres (parada's vs PE2's)

My heap is about due for some new tyres. Any comments as to whether I should stick with the PE2's or ship them out and get some Parada's on instead?

Also has anyone run 205.40.16's on a 1*2?

My mate had parada 2's on his Scooby and rated them in the dry, but in the wet they were pretty awful. If you use your car every day you're prob better off with PE2's...although Eagle F1 assymetrics or Ds3s (if you can find any) are good and most probably cheaper.

Toyo T1R's might also be worth a look if you are on a budget...they're not too far behind.

I did this to a set in under 3k miles... PE2's every time tbh.

I had Prada's on my MX-5 Turbo. They were 195/50/15 and they got all 240bhp down well enough.

Thought about conti's mate ?

Or i have herd good things about Ecsta's both the 712 and the KU31

never used anything other than pe2's on the 182. had michelin PS2's recently but now have toyo T1S. all seem pretty good, but I would say that the michelin are more hard wearing whilst having excellent grip. The toyos seem to resort to a softer compound to make up the grip.

Excellent grip none the less. Also, I would stick to a 45 profile with the 16's to keep the ride quality.
