New tyres

  Westy. MX5
Just had a set of 4 Paradas fitted on my 15" track wheels as my old Advans were trashed. I hear the Paradas are good grip in the dry but resort to Ditchfinders in the wet! True?
£210 was the fitted price, can't afford Advans any more.

Bought some to replace my A048's when theyre dead. Got all 4 for £164, 195/50/15.

Read the same reviews aswell, apparently they dont last long either.

£210 seems a little much, but i think garages charge i lttile more for fitting if you dont get the tyres from them. i just had some paradas and yes the reviews are spot on. in the dry there is excellent amounts of grip, but in the wet you cant seem to push it as hard as you want. they look cool though!

Was that last years price? You won't find 'em for that now, tried every tyre dealer around here and on line, none less than £240 fitted.

As long as last 5 or 6 trackdays I'll be happy.

Thats not including fitting. If I lived near Macclesfield I would buy them from Ears Motorsport, they are a little cheaper than mine.

They are AD08 Neova on the car now mate not A048's, suprised you bought the Paradas not really in the same league as you will find out! Not a bad tyre but the Rainsports on the other wheels are as good if not better IMO

The sidewalls in the neovas make all the difference as they are rock hard as the paradas ain't

thats a good price, cheaper than getting them from camskill and paying for fitting

I dont find them to be bad in the wet at all

My mate wouldn't think so as he totalled is Escort Cossie last December and that was in the wet, off work for a year now with a fractured pelvis. Young drivers LOL.
