I wimped out of a mad colour to begin with, tyres came a few days before i expected them to so in a mad rush I decided on matt black, which i now love!!
Need some bigger spacers and possibly some mad coloured calipers, but looks good to me!

20kg saving overall from the standard wheels, a little less than i maybe expected, but still impressive :D

A few more future plans, but happy with it for the minute!

I want to go lower on the front but it scrapes going diagonally over every speedbump at my college as it is, so gonna have to stay as it is for now!

Thanks Matt :)

They are lightweight Enkeis (the same as used on Evo 7's I think?)
Nah on Yoko Paradas, which are stupidly sticky, miles better than PE2's, although they have only been on 24 hours and it hasn't rained yet!!

The spec 2 mate, yet to comment on the wet but around islands it just sticks!

The offset is ET53, running 6mm spacers to get back the the standard offset, but because they are smaller wheels it exaggerates it a lot, so next up are some slightly bigger spacers.

Parky - thought about that, what colour do you think?
I want some plastic caps that go over them, then I can spray them all the time and not scratch them removing the wheels!

if you think they are grippy mate, u need some r888's in your life, i run them on the turbo with 15mm spacers up front and it grips infintely better again over the spec 2's!lol

gonna experiment a bit with colours, but i like how it looks.
perfect for the car as I will be getting on track as much as possible when I finally get my payrise.

feels miles better to drive!
the fact that 4 tyres were only £126 was persuasive enough for me to be honest!!

  RS RIP
20 kg weightloss !! wow, done good there

Offset looks wrong though.. i think you'll need around 13mm spacers for those to get to ET 40 , (my Cup 172 being ET 38)

Would have gone gloss FTW...

Still looks ok as it is though

Id do the calipers liquid yellow :)

^ The standard offset is ET45, the offset is the measurement from the centre of the wheel to the mounting face of the wheel - the lower the offset to more the wheel sticks out of the arches basically.

They are ET53, with 6mm spacers, so a few mm further in than the standard wheels, but because they are smaller it exaggerates it, so bigger spacers are en route.

I think it looks s**t hot, so much better to drive too, so I'm well happy!

They were a good price, the right size and super light, so ticked all of my boxes :D

Weight saving is a plus, I'm a fan of gloss black. Good tyre choice.
