new zorst, 2.5" straight through

would i see any benifit from ditching the standard zorst and going for a stainless 2.5" cat back system, no middle box and a big japanese tailpipe, not sure of the sound but anyone tell me what this kind of setup would do for me, sound and performance, my car is a phase 1 172 unmodified, thanks guys

from cat back doubt there would be any performance gain tbh.

may sound louder/deeper depending on the exhaust though

you won't gain much in way of performance, but it will feel like a new car & sound like renault should have made it in the first place & plz don't go for a big jap style back box they look really chavy on anything without a turbo!!!

i know what you mean with the back box but i bought it to go on my celica gt4 a year ago before i sold it, never got round to it and now it would save me money,

Have a look at k-tecs demo car mate. Think that has a 4inch jap tail pipe, and that looks alright.

Adamio has one of these fitted to his car i think, worth pming him, but sounds awesome.
