Newbie ~ Clio 182

Hi Folks I just wanted to say hello as I've been lurking for a while. I bought my '05 182 on 1 February, but i had to take it back to the dealer last saturday due to warning light problems (believe many of you have had same problems with car going into limp home mode) - then they tried telling me there was nothing wrong, so i've told them to change the coil pack..... still not a happy bunny.... still no 182 and garage are giving me the run around - even though car is still under warranty :S

Oh well enough of the rant, I look forward to 'meeting' you all !

Welcome! Enjoy...make big noises if they aint listening to you. Renault Customer Service aint too clever tbh...Perhaps take your 182 to another dealer? Failing that, complain to Renault UK.

yep I did - and that's where it still is..... a lad i work with knows someone at GL and apparantly my car is Fast As F*** --- The question is how does he know, Are they all just thrashing it up and down the bypass?

They may be just on about 1*2's in general! cos they are a fast little car. MMmm my mate is a salesman there and they have been known to thrash the sports about a bit.

It may be your mates company car that I'm driving at the moment LOL - they had to give me one of the salesmans cars as they didn't have any curtosy cars and I kicked up a major fuss. (it's a black megane)

I just want my car !!!!!

LOL ye saw it on sat, went up late to pick up some parts of me mate! i get his discount hehehe. Looked sound to me, sounds like it could be a sensor or coilpack. Im sure they will sort it for you.

get onto renault head office. I had issues with the car not starting from hot when I first got it.

I got onto head office and made very big noises, slagged the dealer off.
next thing the dealer phones me I book it in and he fixes it.
that was the 4th time it had been in or something. Cant remember it was 4 year ago.

Certainly worked for me.

Picked my baby up last night - they had supposed to have cleaned her - but she was dirty and also muddy footprint in the back of the car

going to spend some time writing my letter of complaint.......

Glad to have her back though
