hi all i have bought my wife 3 172's in the past (loads of fun for me)now she wants another clio im looking at buying this for her

what do you guys think i viewed it today and it has been well looked after the previous owner sounds like he loved it gararged never used in the rain ect
it has the start of a small tear in the drivers recaro but thats expected bodywork is spot on any feedback before i spend my money would be good

Dealer has added number of owners & spec is billy basic-
No Xenons, No Climate...


also no pics of drivers bolster so that will be falling to bits

hi m8 link not working

i have been to see the car it is 2 miles from me the seat has started to tear but as its common i will get it sorted
as for xenons and climate not a big factor as the mrs very rarely goes out at night and aircon is fine
i will only be having the odd go in it i have my own toy

yep seems a genuine bloke he mentioned he had just sold a 182 previously

got my 1st track day at oulton park on saturday cant wait just had coilovers brakes whiteline & geometry setup done roughly up at 370bhp 380 torque
going up to 450 bhp ish early next year:evil:

i am sure i will get round to doing a track in the clio (if the mrs lets me)

picked up the car tonight bit to wet to give it some so the mrs just had a little go in it had to show her how to work all the gadgets (about 5 times each)
just hope she can keep it in the great condition dan_cup kept it in

cheers steve do you think its worth mapping the bloke who does my scooby says he could get 15-18 bhp but scooby's are his main motors to map (he is well renowned in scooby circles my sti never misses a beat) so he has not had much exp with clio's ?

Congratulations on the new car it looks very nice! I used to have an R27 myself and they are great cars! From my experience I would recommend if you are going to get it mapped then I would go to a renault specialist that have good experience with the cars. My R27 gained 11BHP at RS-Tuning in Leeds and they really are very good so I would be abit dubious about getting 15-18BHP from a tuner that hasn't mapped one before. As mentioned above I would suggest getting the seats re-trimmed as they always look amazing when done!
