172 clio ph1
Hi..
I hate newbie threads. So will keep it to the point....
Long story short I had a v4 sti type R scooby, that I blew engine up and rather than spend £3k ish fixing it I decided to get something senisble as just started a new business... So spent all day going out and test driving and looking at TD cars.. They were all sheds, all slow, all boring and all depressing.
Got in, got the admag and found a poor little 172 clio on there.. So went to look at it and bought it home. Okay I have halfed my bhp but not lost any fun factor from the way I see it.. and gained a hell of a lot of MPG.
Looking forward to getting the poor thing cleaned up as its been a little neglected body wise but runs fine. Now sure donno is only 17 miles up the road..
about me... I'm lynn, way to old really to be going back to hot hatches but age is all in the mind anyway... I have been driving for 7 years and this car makes my 90th in that time. ( had 4-5 at once normally) I live in heanor and am married to Daz ( mot tester, oh so useful). I am a huge moto gp fan and have supported rossi since he was in 125's. I ride bikes too although not got one at the minute as time prevents the real use of one.
I have just gone self employed and have set up my own company a bit similar to ann summers just more choice. Doing the parties too, hence the need for a more mpg friendly car. Had scoobies for 2 1/2 years now and will miss my type R lots but I just can't warrent the running costs when setting up business or the fact that I have lots of late night journeys..
well there you go.. long long post.
