newbie with dead engine

hi guys,recently purchased a 2001 clio sport phase1 off of a mate,unfinished project,clio has a rather large hole in the block by oil filter,need to know,will any F4R block be ok for this as there is one on ebay???

yeah,as little as possible,clio still has old lump in it so have all the bits to bolt on

sump,block and head,just so i dont have to split it
