Afternoon all

Thought I would join up as this seems a really helpful site!

I currently have a 2005 Clio DCi 80 which, unfortunately, I need some advice and parts for! This afternoon we will be taking the front bumper off to see what needs replacing. Luckly there seems to be a really good guide on here from someone called Fauber, so cheers for that dude!

Anyway, you might see me lurking around asking newbie questions, apologies in advance for any dumb quesions!

As for the pics, I will try and get some up of the car later. To be honest ive only had it two weeks and was only driving it for one of them so pictures isnt something I got round to doing. Will take some progress pics as its gets fixed though hopefully.

I dont know 100% whats wrong with it yet until I have a proper look. I bought it on the 30th September and might have slightly crashed it on the 7th October. Needless to say that other half wasnt very impressed! Anyway, from first glance its going to need a new bonnet as its bent and doesnt sit right, you cant really open it unless you use some force. Apparently the N/S front light bracket is broken so moves about. Im hoping the slam panel hasnt hit into the radiator, although I cant see any leaking. Its going to need a new plastic black grille too. Nothing major hopfully but its enough. Pain in the backside that I had only had it a week too, and there was me selling the fun cars to save money. Pah!

Thanks Jane Where in Essex are you? I just moved from Chelmsford but all my family are there so go there a lot.

S'ok I live in Leigh (Southend if you dont know the area very well). And lol at 'slightly' crashing it, its as though you didnt really do it, but you kinda did. Any photos of the crash victim? What cars did you have before then?

I didnt take any photo's.....too ashamed! It goes into the bodyshop tomorrow and will *hopefully* get it back Thursday in brand new condition!

Prior to the DCi, I drove a Saxo VTS. I tried to sell the VTS but no one wanted it due to the tax and insurance being too high and it was highly modified. Its now im bits in my mother-in-law's garage and is slowly being sold off in parts. Ah well! I decided to get rid to try and save money, what a joke that turned out to be! We also currently have a 306 XTDT, Laguna estate and a Caterham. Swapped our Subaru for the Laguna as we needed a tow car for the Caterham as the 306 is getting on a bit now.

We had no choice but to swap the subaru for something more sensible as we needed it as a tow car and have recently moved house so needed to save money somewhere lol. Yeah we trackday the Caterham, also work for Javelin Trackdays so that helps with track time!

Yeah we didnt want to get rid of the Subaru but it was just sitting about not getting used, bit of a waste really.
At least im not the only Sarah diesel clio owner here
