cheers for your help sn00p. got easynews and got a download manager (freedownloadmanager) can't work out how to do it though, trying my best to follow griffs guide

griffs guide doesn't apply as this is a web based interface.

Simply go to:

members.easynews.com/global4

and then in subject field type in whatever you are looking for, nudge nudge, wink wink.

Hit search and a couple of seconds later all the matches will appear. Save the files you are interested in.

It's like google, but for files.

Right, i'm in the zip manager and i've got my files ready to download, but when i click download it takes ages for the file to appear in FDM, like 5-10 minutes. Is this what happens for you too?

Oh, and if you go over 20gb can you just buy more?

No, sounds like your browser setup, unless you're looking a completed filter or something in FDM, I can't remember how FDM works!

speed download, but unless you've got a mac, that piece of software will be useless!

I've used FDM with a PC before loads of times without a problem. Just sounds like a browser integration issue.

Yes, and you can also set it to auto-rebuy (and say how many times you'll allow it to happen).

I've got 260 GB in my gig bank!

I think i sorted the problem i was having, it was because of the downthemall add-on in firefox. i'm up to 410kbps on a little bit of Jenna Hopefully i can get better though as i'm on 8mb broadband

rite ive got the hang of using easynews and downloading using free download manager and its easy. i downloaded an episode of lost though and its really dark and bad quality as well as having green writing covering all the screen saying framerate, audio etc

Click on the bit that says "par viewer" next to the file, that will show you all the files that are part of the post, you should then see the auto unrared file which you can download.

As for your green text that must be a feature of your player.

Not had this problem myself so unsure of what to suggest! Have you tried downloading by doing Right click 'save target as' rather than using FDM?

Just an addition to sn00p's post, if you stick 'secure.' before the members part of the URL, e.g. secure.members.easynews.com, you'll be put into secure mode, if you're that overly concerned about downloading copyrighted stuff.
