It's there as they rated it as the benchmark hot hatch....they'll test the others in comparison to the Trophy.

I guess the Trophy will walk it! It's to be expected really! It's by far the lightest and most focused there and has finely developed dynamics and very expensive dampers etc! It is probably going to be the last of the old skool hot hatches! For pure drivings thrills I can't imagine any of the others getting close! The 197 is probably going to be 2nd best but that's still a long way off of the Trophy from what I've read. Maybe the VXR can upstage the 197 but I doubt it'll trouble the Trophy!

Judging by Evos past comments on the Mini that's the order I'd expect to see also. Unless Vauxhall have actually pulled something out of the bag chassis wise this time.
