I know its a whole year away but does anyone fancy a bit of a European Tour next year ?

After just completing a Epic drive from Northern Germany to Corsica and back via Italy, Austria, Germany with parts through the Alps as part of a exercise with the forces.
I really would like to make a trip of it! Taking in the sights, sounds and smells of Europe in the Clio.

Anyone else be up for this ?

That's the Challenge of it. however there is a day at the ring, a day in Salzburg, a day in Milan and a half day in Paris so should be welcome breaks from driving.

The Plan I am thinking of is to meet up Friday morning in Essex.

Day 1- Drive to the Nurburgring and set up camp.
Day 2- Spend the day at the Ring and then go out at night
Day 3- Drive to Salzburg and set up Camp
Day 4- Spend the day exploring The Alps. With a trip to the Eagles Nest ( Hitlers summer hide out ) Driving round some of the most beautiful scenery and driving roads in Europe. Then have dinner at the Red Bull Hanger 7.
Day 5- Drive to Milan through the Stevlio pass. Set up Camp
Day 6- Milan have a look around Milan and visit the San Siro Stadium and have a traditional Italian Pizza.
Day 7- Drive to Lyon through French Country Side Stopping for a Traditional French Lunch. To a Hotel
Day 8- Drive to Paris spend a night out in Paris Hotel.
Day 9- Spend the first part of the day looking around Paris and then Drive back to Essex.

Just shy of 2000 I believe.

I was toying with the fact of expanding it to go from Milan to Monaco then from there to Barcelona spend the day there.
Then onto Bordeaux stop over night then onto Le mans then back home. Which would be 2881 miles : )

Well I'm up for that next year, last years was amazing!

Switzerland is the best place for cars, the roads, campsites, food, all epic!

Well we could do it the other way round and end with the Nurburgring it all depends on who would want to go.

I am planning on going even if it is just me and my mate if that happens we are going for the proper long version lol

Put me down for the long version. But I'd like to do the ring last. I'd rather cook my brakes and tyres after doing a 3000mile trip.

I'd be up for this, just depends when youre doing it as I now spend 4 months a year working abroad. 3000 is half my normal annual mileage! lol. Do you know a rough cost?

1500 squids for a week travelling round the best parts of Europe per car ain't bad.

Everyone start saving! This could be our Cliosport Gumball lol

After some input from the guys I reckon it would be better if we reversed the route to have the Nurburgring last and to hopefully camp most areas to keep costs down.

Day 1 London-Paris Hotel
Day 2 Paris-Lyon Camp
Day 3 Lyon-Nice Camp
Day 4 Nice to Milan via Monaco
Day 5 Milan Hotel
Day 6 Milan to Salzburg via Monza and the Stevlio pass Camp
Day 7 Salzburg with a visit to the Eagles Nest and Red Bull Hanger 7
Day 8 Salzburg to Nurburgring Camp
Day 9 Nurburgring
Day 10 Nurburgring - London

What do you guys think?

Also add to that from Salzburg to Nurburgring via the B500 Black Forest Road
