Yeah, kind of like on this Alfa 8C.

Only problem is getting a the same finish on vinyl is somewhat difficult, so colours like Liquid Yellow just wouldn't look as good.

Maybe better sticking with a good flat blue or orange like the porsche colours.

White would be good also
