but there all 4 Cyl ? including the mazda (unless im mistaken) and the mazda is not a boxer like the subaru is it ? yet it sounds better than a subaru.

funnily enough it sounds more like a classic scoob than the new impreza sti lol :D

cant wait for the new model MPS aswell

  Integra Type-R DC2
Mazda is a 2.3 Turbo straight 4. No idea why they sound so good, but they do!

  MKIII 138
if id of known that id of bought one or at least test drove before R26 as they also have LSD and stack of power and torque + remap to 310+bhp which the meg only manages 275hp.

it will be tough as im undecided on wether to get the meg 250 or new mazda 3MPS thats coming out and meant to have lots of handling improvements and updates to looks and interior also.

still.. meg has g-meter and bhp readout and will probably be faster on b roads and more involving and err.. look harder :D

The secret to keeping the boxer rumble is the unequal length tubes on the stock exhaust manifold/ header... there is an out of sequence pulse that gives that distinct rumble
Maybe this can be done on those Mazdas?
