Nicer, deeper sound in the cold!

Anyone noticed a deeper, throatier sound from their 182 in this cold weather?

Sounds nice .. real nice!

I wasnt expecting much from the sound on the standard 182.
But im impressed. Especially at 5-7k revs.

Yeah i heard a standard 182 giving it some welly yesteday - was impressed!! but i know what you mean about the cold weather - my valver is loving all the cold air!!!! shame i dont!!

my car scared me the other nite when i put my foot down, jesus did it pull out of nowhere, was mad

not sure if exhaust sounds different, might just be blowing again

The cold air is good for the car though so that probably helps.

Ive notice my induction kit making quite a bit of noise since the weather got colder!!

Not heard a 182 fly by at full pelt, would like to hear though...



Closest i get to hearing the engine is reversing out my driveway...nice sound...!



Ive noticed that when you drive by somebody and floor the pedal, they turn round and look...even if your going below 30mph in 4th...so their must be some noise...

Thats the disadvantage of it, cold air and more efficient engine but more icey and more wheelspin!!! arse!

Youre right though people told me that my engine sounded pretty loud (pre induction kit) but Id never noticed it.

My mate at works keeps on about the sound or my std cup.

He said it sounded amazing flying past his his prelude when i left him 4 dead!

Even my little 1.6 is managing to pull better...and spin in 2nd gear sometimes, which is unheard of - even last winter.

i think the renault 4 pots r the best sounding 4 cylender engines around.. the 1816v with an induction kit sounds awsome.. my 182 even though its standard sounds really throaty.. encourages u to drive like a loon though!

Compared to my old valver with a Green induction kit my 182 sounds really really quiet!
