NILFISK C130

It'll be more than adequate for cleaning cars and a bit more, pretty much. I've got a C100 (I think) - it's very similar, but the C130 has the winding thing for the hose, which is something I'd like to have, as the hose is quite inconvenient when packing it away.

It should be that 130 relates to max pressure, meaning it's fairly decent. My 120 is more than adequate for my needs

metal impellors whereas only available on the more expensive karchers IIRC.

I've only used Nilfisk but a lot of it comes down to how you use and look after them. lower end of the market I would recommend Nilfisk

I've got a C120 and its pretty powerful. Can't see why you would ever need more than that.

I've had a Nilfisk Centennial (1650w) for a good few months now and it's a great bit of kit for the money (£99.99 in Argos).

It's MORE than powerful enough for your car and it comes with a high pressure nozzle which brought my patio up like new.

I cannot see any point whatsoever buying a more powerful one than this.

I have this to, more than happy with it.

Anymore powerful and it will cause damage.

Looks like a good deal may invest in one , is the snowfoam lance with it ? and is it any good ?

Correct.

The supplied lance is not a lance as such - more of a bottle attachment. It creates bubbles, not foam. If you want to snow foam, you need a lance attachment such as;

http://www.i4detailing.co.uk/acatalog/HD_Snow_Foam_Kit_Karcher_KEWNA_1.html

That's the correct connector as well (Karcher, Kew, Halfrauds etc all have different connectors, so be aware of that when you're ordering if you don't decide to order from the linked page).

I got a Nilfisk pressure washer last year Dave from screw fix after my 2nd karcher broke. Think it was 80 quid and came with a couple of attachments and a snow foam thing, I doubt the snow foam lance will work the same as the proper ones though

I wouldn't go back to karcher again to be honest

EDIT: think this is mine,

Looks like they've added another attachment to it too.

I can confirm it won't - but after a bit of research, consensus seems to suggest a pre-wash like Citrus Power or RDS is more effective than snowfoam anyway; I used RDS to clean my car the other day and was very happy with the results - saves paying out for a decent lance.

I really want a Snow Foam Lance but as I now use CP it seems I would be wasting my money :(

I just wanted to play around with the foam

rinse normally, spray with citrus power and leave to dwell, then pressure rinse off and there will be very little grime in your 2 bucket wash

Also... snowfoam twice... second time start washing the car with the mitt, et voila even slicker wash method. Bit like they do at cheap carwashes.

Of course put shampoo in your bucket as normal if you wish aslong as 2 bucket method still applied.

That's what I paid for mine, they regularly have it with the 15% off. Use your nectar points also and I got it for £42 in the end.
