Was suposed to pick up my 51 plate dynamique today but i got a phone calls saying it has failed its network Q inspection (got it from a vaxhall dealer) because its cylinder head and water pump have gone and it also needs a timing belt and break pads so the can't sell me the car Had insurance sorted and everything.

They have found me a replacement though at a good price but don't want to say anything about that one untill i have a deal on it.

At least its better than them flogging it to you then you finding all these problems, a lot of cash to be spent on it.

least they sorted you a new one out. Thought it would be inspected before putting it up for sale though. surely?

Yeah but a lot of places seems to wait until they have sold a car before sorting the problems out, as they often get passed around between garages etc if they don't sell.

Well i was obviously glad that they didnt sell me it bothced up its just that its my 1st car and i have my test at 8.20 tomorrow and was looking forward to (hopefully) passing me test then having my car there ready to drive, but S**t happens

Was just about to say the same myself, at least they were honest, you could have ended up being seriously out of pocket with it. Frustrating as it is, hang on in there, lucky escape!

Wait till its fixed then get it? Would be a better deal if the cambelts been done.

Sounds more like the cambelt hasn't been done (should have ben done over a year ago) and now its snapped wrecking the engine.

Shows how well the cars been serviced.
