No help from garage!!?!?!?!

took my car to local garage today top sort out the starting problem!! guess what started everytime for them!!! they cant find anything wrong with it at all!??!?!?!

anyone else had starting problems???

no any random time!!! all lights come on turn key to fire it up and nothing no noise nothing!!! then randomly it will start again!!! i can bump start it when it happens!!!1 but garage cant find nothing wrong!!!

3 - throttle body potentiometer

Check the above 3 ( going of a F3P type engine 1.8 RSi )

^^ none of the above would stop the engine from turning over, it would just stop it starting. if i remember, this person s starter motor didnt even turn...

Write it down and take the vehicle to an independant Renault specialist - they will know were to look straight away

If the vehicle doesnt even attempt to turn over it is obviously the starter motor are a bad connection

yeh thats what i thought but garage tried it over 100 times today and it started everytime!!!! they said if it happens again all i can do is replace the starter?!?!?!??!

^^ the reason for this is because when you drive the car, the loose connection has a change to make&break because when the cars moving its going over bumps ect, when there just starting it in the garage, theres no bumps or forces made to break the connection.

yeh really should get break down cover lol!!!!

the other day it did it 2 hours later it just started workiong again drove it home and its been fine!!!!
