No MAF sensor reading?

Car  Arctic 182
Just had my 182 plugged in with my OBD lead, and there is no reading from the MAF sensor..do these leads usually pick up a reading? If so, will it be a faulty sensor? Where is the sensor?

Cheers
Matt

Surely these run with a MAP (pressure) sensor rather than a MAF (flow) sensor?

Andy

I have no idea? lol. Maybe it was MAP? Assuming it is that, would the OBD cable usually pick up that reading?

Matt

MAP sensor is in the drivers side of the inlet manifold - for refence

As said, they run MAP not MAF :)

Thanks :) only owned it a week, it shows! Is it the black sensor in the centre of the of the drivers side? Clueless! Haha.

Matt.

Gouldy, should the software you used the other night pick it up? Got myself a cable! Lol.

yes, have a look under intake pressure when the engine is running. the pressure is given in pascals IIRC
