NO REVERSE

So everything was going great until I tried to reverse out my gate yesterday. I had to try 5 times to get it into reverse - eventually went in but it was really hard to locate the slot. Kept trying everytime I stopped, but still no luck. All forward gears are fine. Same thing again this morning. Anyone else experienced this? The car has 14 000kms on it.

The gear linkage might need tightening, or maybe one of your engine mountings has slipped.

I think this is a problem to do with the gate alignment for reverse, my friend had the same problem. He had to adjust the linkage to bring it back in line. I know that at one point he went to far over...got reverse back but lost 5th.
