From date of reg to 3 years old is the easiest time to clock a car. (No MOTs so no record of the car anywhere)
UNLESS! Its got full service history (reciepts, any monkey can buy a book and stamp it up)

Very true. It should only have 2 mot's now so easy to clock it.
1) Buy cheap, spend loads of money, sell cheap.
Or
2) Buy expensive, spend no money, sell expensive.
2nd option sounds a better bet imo.
Buy expensive, have more depreciation though.
If you have it a few years, and build up some service history, it would be easier to sell with Part service history.
You both have good points. But either way money will be lost because it is a car and 90% you lose money when you buy a car.
