Seriously not worth it. Borrow a trailer or get the AA to take it to ur home.

Yeh AA will take it home for you, someone on here will advise you how to give it a problem that you can fix when you get back to yours!

I think your AA policy needs to have relay where you get your car recovered to your home or garage.

National recovery to a UK mainland destination of your choice (for you, your vehicle and up to 7 passengers), if we can't fix your car at the roadside or arrange a prompt local repair.
as per the AA website.

Im sure if u talk to the bloke he'll just take it home for you

Join the AA with roadside reley it will cost £60 but if ur buying a car with not tax or mot its gonna need the 13 call outs u can get. Just say its broken down and its all good thats how I picked up my 1st clio!

You can just use AA as a recovery service can you not they dnt even need to look at your car? but glad its all sorted

Just tell them the cambelt's snapped & them trying to turn it over any more could/will cause more damage... so tow me home!

nah i think it was the distance they werent having none of it plus it was a very by the book guy. friendly but not someone who would do me a favour lol.
i did ask when i called and they said no they have to look at it first.

anyway good news is that i got my online quote... £973 from admiral not too bad tbh previous claim and 3 points for a SP30. Fully comp - me as policy holder, dad as named driver..i added my aunt on and the price is now £754! needless to say the car is now covered :) got it booked for MOT.
