Noise number 2: Wheel Bearings??????

Hi,

Sorry for the bombardment of questions! I have a very loud and very irritating squeak coming from the passengers wheel (I think). When I brake, even slightly, it stops, then starts again as soon as I'm off the brake peddle, is this my wheel bearings and do hey need replacing? If so, are they hard to do??

Thanks again,

Mike.

Ah thanks, just so happen to have new pads and discs to go on at some point, is it an urgent thing as I have another nasty noise to sort out first! Can I "unstick" them?

Thanks again.

Na, not too bad. Just take them to bits and make sure the pads can move freely. use copper grease on the back of them so that they dont stick to the callipers!

its not always the pads you have to worry about moving freely

make sure the guide pins on the caliper are free to move aswell.
