Noise when changing between 6-7K revs

  Clio 200 RS, Evora
Just wondering whether anyone can help.

I have a 2010 Clio 200RS and when I change gear between 6-7k revs there is a "crrrrh" noise (sorry for naff description).

The Clio has been in the garage for 8 weeks now (long story with cam belt tensioner, steering rack and drive shaft replaced due to a noise at 4k revs rather than my original reported 6-7k!!!).

Speaking to the garage they said the Renault specialist said that it could be due to belt slap and that the majority of RS's do it. Well I have spoken to a couple of other owners who do not have the noise so I am very sceptical.

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem & fixed it & whether any other 200RS owners get this noise.

Getting very annoyed with Renault due to their incompetence.

George
