My dephaser makes a rattle like noise when the car is warmed up, maybe the same for yours?

it wont be lifters. that's a typical dephaser (vvt) pulley noise when it gets tired. Cambelt replacement plus £174 for the extra part

plus an oil and filter change as it's usually neglected servicing that brings this on

Can someone tell me Ifthe pulley will actually snap or break? Or does it just get very worn?
