noisy drive shafts

hi people

i have a clio 172 03 plate. on hard acceleration there seems to be a noise comeing from the drive shaft areas. is this a known fault.

any help or suggestions would be good

Check the gaiter cover for any leak or broken. Grease it.

ok had a closer look. gaitors are fine. the car has konis all round so is sitting a bit lower than standard. the wheels rub very slightly on the front plastic wheel arch liner when turning hard! but this is not the noise!

the noise sounds like a metal rattle at high revs through 1st and sometimes 2nd. reading the other posts exhausts seem to create this noise maybe baffles or something?

could be the dog bone mount giving in

could you expand on the "dog bone mount" where is it and what does it do?
