Noisy/whining TPS/throttle body, is it normal?

As above really. With the ignition on, engine off, the throttle body is making a fairly loud noise/whine which doesn't sound healthy. Good or bad?

edit: Oh and also, with ignition on, there is a sound that I can only describe as an old school printer going on around by the drivers side headlight, top mount location? really wierd....

Throttle body fault is down to the throttle body. Mine started doing it a few months back then all of a sudden it died!

Went upto nearly 3,000 rpm with no load then in gear it wouldnt rev past idle. Was very dangerous so I would recommend changing it ASAP.

Got mine from Cliospares - very quick delivery and a pleasure to deal with

they all make a noise to some extent, but some are louder than others.

The noise behind the headlight is the carbon canister solenoid

Why is the carbon canister going so mental?
